Need help choosing trustworthy software review tools

  3. Skim only:
    • 1–3 star reviews
    • Recent high upvote / highly reacted posts
  4. Do a 1–2 day hands on trial focused only on your must haves
  5. If still unsure, force yourself to choose between two finalists and list “why we did not pick the other one”

That written “why not X” is often more useful a year later than any score you saw at the start.
